MOTO Classic undertook the rally preparation of a stunning special body: an Alvis Speed 25 (1933). Bert Dolk (NL) en Yves Noellanders (B) won the ING Ardenne Roads Trophy and two other major rallies driving a car that doubles as a bench-mark for another Alvis project. This particular Alvis Speed 25 reached us as an almost finished product with many technical flaws. But now this wonderful piece of machinery is definitely ‘ready to race’ again. And owner/ driver Bert Dolk is too! Under the next button you will find more info on the birth of an Alvis.

‘The Birth of an Alvis’

The technical update and completion of this car constituted a major challenge. But MOTO Classic managed to pull it off. And in the process we gained so much type-related experience that we undertook to restore another special bodied Speed 25 car, inspired by Bert Dolks prizewinning one. Enjoy the photographs!
